Use of information and Data Protection
Ball is committed to the online privacy of all its users. This policy statement is designed to give a clear explanation of Ball's data processing practices. The Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC ("the Directive"), which has been implemented by most countries in the European Union, safeguards the privacy of an individual's personal details. Although the Directive is applicable only to countries within the European Union, Ball has adopted its principles as the basis for its worldwide best practice data protection policy and those principles are reflected in this policy. We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and have given all appropriate notifications to the Information Commissioner.
We collect and record your personal information (which may include your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone and fax numbers) only with your knowledge and consent - which will be required to be given before you provide personal information to us. This will typically be when you make enquiries, use services, register for information or services, or respond to our communications.
We will use your personal information only in ways that are compatible with the purposes for which it was provided/collected and as authorized by you. We will use your personal information for our internal business purposes including (for example only) improving our websites and operations, for fulfilling orders or requests, for administrative purposes and in order to comply with any law or court order.
As stated above, we will not send you marketing e-mails unless you have consented to receive them.
We may share non-personal aggregate statistics (group) data about our site visitors' traffic patterns with partners or other parties. However, we do not sell or share any information about individual users.

Transfer of data
Personal data will only be transferred between Ball locations or between Ball locations and third party locations if adequate protection (being that which meets the requirements of the Directive) of personal data can be reasonably assumed at the locations concerned.
